MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) – The Russian stock market saw a downward correction on Tuesday due to poor trends on global markets, a drop in oil prices and the strengthening of the dollar, although the release of better-than-expected statistics on U.S. consumer confidence in the evening softened the blow to some degree.
